Saturday at the NEC, the Caravan and Motorhome Show October 2024 and we're back in the house unscathed. Only thirteen pounds and ninety nine pence spent on one new item. A bag for the folding recliners. I am a happy shopper!

Paris jet'aime!

Last night we arrived back to camp after a day in Paris during which we weren't mugged or pickpocketted or anything else untoward happened to us at all. It was a fantastic, most enjoyable, fun day out.

Mr Blue Sky

On Saturday, the clouds dispersed and the sun came out and we got on our bikes again. This time we headed off to the top end of the three reservoir system to the village of Dienville, a trip of around 42kms there and back to the campsite.

Dam good cycling!

So on we go to Troyes. Champagne, shopping, Lacoste and chocolate. Yesterday we enjoyed a lazy day in camp after walking what felt like fifty thousand miles around Paris. My poor feet! It was a chance to catch up with some personal admin, updating the blog and so on. We also finished off the last of the ox cheek stew and very nice it was too.
